This Series, Shapeless Moments in Moments of Shaped Energy, is comprised of pieces that came to be with mystery and poetry. I am simultaneously finishing a manuscript of poems. I realize now that both are related in the way a waterfall is connected to the rays of light coming through the Redwoods. Both are essential and create different vibrations, together and apart. There are shadows, circular shapes, colors, no colors, sounds that bypass you when you’re receiving their energy and they’re receiving yours. There’s always a relationship happening.

These pieces are happening in the now with many different media involved like hand built wooden forms to support a piece that’s practically weightless, materially, but filled with art-felt organisms stretched out and lying flatly that could go on forever.
They also range in size and construction. As a body of work, they have accents, like in any language, for example the hanging materials in some run past the point of origin, creating the sense of movement without moving.
